Wow... it's been 7 months since my last journal post. It has been a crazy, amazing, life changing experience in so many ways, so I shall keep this short and sweet.
University. That's probably enough of an explanation. But since coming to University to study film my life has changed - I've grown into a better person, in a thousand different ways. I'm more outgoing, independent, responsible, creative, productive: I use my time wisely, I've made every day a day to remember. I'm becoming increasingly more aware of myself and the impact I've created - and I, for once in my life, feel comfortable in my own skin.
Things are moving fast: it's already Semester two. I have three new modules to study. I'm currently working on my second short film since studying here. I've made tonnes of great new friends. There's been some romances. I'm becoming healthier. And most excitingly, I've put a deposit down on my first house for my second year of Uni. Wow. I never thought I'd be typing these words.
So what does this mean for my deviantART page? Before I left, I was swamping it with film scripts and short film posters and YouTube advertisements and Minecraft screenshots. That has ended as quickly as it came. DA is for artwork only. And I promise, there will be more to come! However, deviantART is only one section of a large internet footprint that I'm trying to create, as I'm now connected to a bunch of other social media sites. If you have any of the following, be sure to add me, I'll add you back:
Tumblr - I'm writing articles and reblogging important news and awesome photographs: terryltkitto.tumblr.com/
And YouTube? That was always a distraction more than a productive outlet for my creative ideas. However, expect there to be a Vimeo account soon for any short films that I work on!
Also, I turned 20 this month! I'm no longer a teenager, but a very young adult. I feel ready for the next part of my life and the many challenges that may ensue.
Oh, and I'm out of the closet. Never liked it there much. It was rather dark and very boring.
Breaking Bad is AWESOME. Beyonce's new album slays.
Enough about me - you guys! Where are you? How have you been? What's new in 2014? I'll try my hardest to catch up on your artwork and leave some feedback I promise.
That's enough from me, for now.
